Paging System Infrastructure Repair

Advantage is an authorized Vertex-Standard (now owned by Motorola) warranty repair center. We also work on Motorola, Kenwood, ICOM and other brands. Advantage services Portable, Mobile, Base and Repeater systems including: P25 Digital, DMR, Moto Turbo, Analog & Digital Trunking systems, Narrow and wideband systems. Wireless Internet, Private Network, IP Camera & Microwave Network Repair

Advantage can service, repair or replace your 802.11 A, B, G, N, 2.4GHz or 5GHz networks whether they be point to point, point to multipoint, Access point, wireless router and more. Advantage offers and services IP Network Camera systems and Microwave networks.

Radio Console Service

Advantage technicians are experienced in servicing systems manufactured by Orbacom (TDM-150), Zetron, Motorola and Gai-Tronics. Advantage has experience with 911 PSAP systems from single to multiple console positions. Please contact our office to discuss the specific needs on your system.

Cellular Booster and Distributive Antenna Systems (DAS)

Advantage is experienced with the installation, maintenance and repair of in building RF signal booster systems by Wilson, Digital Antenna, CSI, and others. We utilize RF engineers to design, expand, troubleshoot, or repair most systems with proper equipment. Advantage can handle small and very large DAS systems. Vehicle boosters are also serviced and we stock Wilson products. All RF bands are included in our capabilities.

Emergency Radio Communications Enhancement System (ERCES)

or more commonly known as a Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) system is a Public Saftey System. Emergency Responders such as Firefighters, Police and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) rely on two-way radios operating on public safety frequencies for communications in every day operations. Radio signals are weakened by structures and building materials which impacts radio signal propagation causing lake of coverage making emergency radio communications become unreliable. Codes require an approved level of radio coverage which can be achieved by enhancing the in-building radio frequency signal coverage with an ERCES which comprises of a BDA / Signal Booster and Distributed Antenna System (DAS).

Tower Antenna Systems

Advantage is experienced with radio systems on tower and building sites and can perform analysis for repair in most cases utilizing line fault and antenna analyzers. We also have available RF exposure safety analysis to meet FCC requirements.

Service Work Warranty

Advantage warrants its repairs and part replacement for a period of thirty (30) days from repair completion from same failure or problem. If your product has the same related failure without any other causation we will repair it at no charge. Liquid damage is not warranted. Some manufacturers will warrant replacement parts for longer than 30 days. We want you to be our good customer through good service.

Liquid Damage to Radios, Cell Phones & Pagers

If your wireless device has come into contact with water or other liquids it is crucial that you immediately take these steps:

• DO NOT turn it on – DO remove the battery and leave it out
• Dry the device with cloth and a blow dryer or a moisture removing process
• Bring the phone to Advantage shop ASAP for special disassembly and solvent cleaning.

Advantage and other service centers are able to save these devices that had short exposure to moisture only if you follow the above steps. Wireless Devices (Cell Phones, Pagers, two way radio) that are turned on to see if they still work when not completely dry will short out interior components and be UNREPAIRABLE. You cannot see the moisture inside the radio which is why trained technicians must disassemble the device for proper removal of moisture and contaminates left behind. Manufacture Warranty will NOT cover liquid damage to your device. Our service charge to perform the special cleaning required and costs from $40 to $125.
